Dr. Syed Arshad Hussain has been awarded by Jagadish Chandra Bose Award for the year 2008-09 for his contribution in research in the field of science, technology & environment by Tripura State Council for Science and Technology, Govt. of Tripura, India. In a ceremony at Sukanta Academy, Agartala the award has been given to Dr. Hussain.
